When we say adidas Originals knows how to party, we mean it.

Hosted in collaboration with Highsnobiety, The Brand With The Three Stripes pulled off a function worth remembering last night with friends and guests of adidas Originals arriving in full force to celebrate being an Original. It all went down at The Flower Shop in the Lower East Side, where the ‘70s-themed decor lent itself perfectly to the evening’s festivities.

The space was electrified with pulsating energy thanks to DJs Rich Fazo, Rich Vibes, and Odalys, while libations flowed generously throughout the night, setting the stage for an unforgettable celebration.

When guests weren’t rocking out on the lower level, they had a chance to express their individuality at a custom portrait station upstairs, allowing anyone to feel like a Superstar for the night. It was the perfect opportunity to flex the community’s eclectic personal style — a true expression of NYC’s originality.

The space was decked out with a trio of timeless adidas Originals silhouettes — the Superstar, Gazelle, and Samba — along with copies of ‘The Daily Original’ sprinkled about, a customized newspaper in celebration of all things Original, including a few stars of the campaign: Alani Noelle aka Wuzg00d and Brandon Scott, known by Nevaskimp to most, both of whom were in attendance. The newspaper not only celebrated these rising stars but also shone a light on the local businesses that played a crucial role in their journeys.

Scott, a fixture in the NYC skateboarding and fashion scene, brought his family over to revel in his well-deserved success. It was a full-circle moment for the Jamaican native and a testament that originality is still the top currency when it comes to selling yourself.

As the evening drew to a close, one thing remained clear: New York’s finest will always be an Original.
