Editor’s Notes: First teased back in July, the adidas Originals ZX 4000 4D is now officially being released on February 9. Previous reports had the silhouette dropping in late November 2018, but adidas has now confirmed the official release date on Instagram.

The sneaker fuses the upper of the ’90s ZX 4000 with adidas’ 21st-century Carbon 4D Futurecraft midsole, which has been described as being crafted with light and oxygen to provide controlled energy return for the wearer.
