Like it or not, the digital world is now a central component of every aspect of our lives. Many would turn back the clock, given the chance, to a simpler time. But, it’s worth taking note of the times when technology actually makes the world a better place.

For adidas Run For The Oceans 2022, runners can download the adidas Running app and join the challenge. Every 10 minutes of running tracked in the app between May 23 and June 8 will clean up the equivalent of one plastic bottle.

If you ever needed a reason to run, this is it. Aside from the myriad physical and mental health benefits, or the fact it’s just good fun to move, that is. But, in order to make the most of your running minutes for adidas Run For The Oceans, you’re going to need the right kit.

Below, we’ve rounded up 10 pieces helping us rack up the minutes, ranging from Parley collaborations to staple running gear.

Black running tops are a flattering choice, avoiding the enormous sweat patch look. But they fall down at night time because you become almost invisible. Not with this one though, thanks to reflective patches for low-light runs.

If you're not a fan of the all-black running look, then it's nice to introduce some unusual colors into your gear. This pair of murky green shorts is ideal: not too loud, but a nice departure from the safe monochrome looks.
