Several weeks ago, Kanye West was spotted wearing a pair of mysterious neoprene scuba boots that had the internet going crazy because of the unorthodox style. Now, Highsnobiety gives you an exclusive closer look at the pair in question. Check out detailed images above.

The boots feature a monotone grey upper with treaded outsole, and no visible branding. Tonal stitching runs across the upper and around the ankle collar. The new design was created by adidas for Kanye West around the time of his Sunday Service performance at Coachella.

When Highsnobiety visited the adidas archive at the brand’s global headquarters in Herzogenaurach, Germany, we were told that West was particularly fascinated with a particular pair of luge boots, so it’s safe to say that Kanye is open to inspiration coming from all sorts of different places.

Take your closest look yet at Kanye West’s scuba boots above and stay tuned for any further information.
