With the NBA back in business, basketball's global limelight continues to grow. Prices for grailed Jordan sneakers are still riding high following the success of Netflix's The Last Dance, but luckily, Nike keeps the new releases coming. Two AJ1 colorways arrive this week, but it's the Nike Air Jordan 1 “Satin Snake” that has our attention this time. Its release is set for today, August 6.

The Nike Air Jordan 1 “Satin Snake” boasts faux snakeskin on the heel and Swoosh in black, with satin and leather combining across the shoe's upper in red and white to form the classic "Chicago" aesthetic. We first got a glimpse of snakeskin Jordans via customizers in the mid-2010s, and now Jordan Brand recognizes the demand for such colorways with this official iteration.

Joining a recent line-up of designated women's Jordan releases, the "Satin Snake" is also expected to drop in an extended size range. StockX market data shows that the sneaker is currently attracting an average sale price of around $348. Its 52-week high price of almost $800 suggests that it could be a smart time to cop.
