Where to Buy 2024's Most-Hyped Jordan 4 Sneaker
Nike's Air Jordan 4 "Military Blue" is on just about every sneakerhead's wishlist, making it one of the most sought-after re-releases of 2024. After rumors upon rumors and even a brief shock drop by Nike, the Military Blue 4s are finally ready to make their long-awaited return.
The "Military Blue" Jordan 4 sneakers revive the familiar color palette of bright blue, white, and faint greys to the fourth Jordan shoe. The summer-worthy hues again land in their original spots, with white pretty much striking everywhere and throw in some Military Blues accents on signature Jordan 4 fixings.
The Jordan 4 "Military Blue" originally dropped in 1989 as one of the few iconic colorways from the Jordan 4's debut lineup. The sneaker had a few re-releases in 2006 and 2012 and even laid the groundwork for a series of "Military" colorways (there's also a "Military Black" Jordan 4).
I almost forgot: the Military Blue 4s was also released in 2021...as a shoe for golfers. Still, the sneakers appeared to be a hit among the sneaker enthusiasts skilled on the green. Retailing for $220, the golf versions go for anywhere between $270 to $650 on the resale market.
Whispers of the Military Blue 4's return began to bubble in 2023, later followed up with leaked imagery that initially had sneakerheads on the fence about its look (fans said they looked like the SB Jordan 4s).
But again these weren't the official imagery with the final product from Nike. Nonetheless, with the hype boiling over the pot for the launch, it's safe to say that a few initial impressions have changed for the better.
Nike further fueled anticipation by unveiling its official looks — and thus, a crystal-clear view at a nice classic shape — followed by a quick surprise release a few days ago.
If you missed out or took an L on the shock drop, don't worry. The Military Blue Jordan 4 sneakers will be back again on May 4 on Nike's SNKRS app (the official release).
Regardless, 2024's Air Jordan 4 "Military Blue" is still one of the buzziest sneaker drops of the year. So, I salute all fellow sneaker lovers entering the warzone to cop.
