For years, Alexis Sablone has blessed us with her skating skills on stages like the X Games and Olympics. But I'd also like to remind you that the pro skateboarder holds several solid collaborations under her deck. Sablone is currently shaded under the Nike umbrella, having served up neat sneakers with Converse, and is currently prepping for her first Nike SB project.

Recognized for her cool Converse kicks, Sablone surprised us with a sneak peek of her Nike SB sneaker. In her Instagram reveal, she not only unveiled a fresh colorway of her latest Converse CONS AS-1 sneaker but also a striking scaly Nike SB Dunk.

Sablone's Dunk reminds me of the "Urban Landscape" Dunks, but better. The skater takes pebbled leather to another level with a beautifully emphasized version that evokes the feel of either a cold-blooded reptile or a bumpy trail.

The dino-like bumps come in gorgeous earthy green tones, joined by purple hints that look like they were spray-painted on the Dunk sneaker.

Sablone's Dunk shoe also offers up some bump-free white leather and green rubber details elsewhere, which add equally pleasing touches to this already nice take.

As seen in Sablone's preview, her Dunks come with two shoelaces, one purple and the other green, reiterating the collaboration's nice color story. Fans can expect both lace options to be up for grabs and ready for mixing and matching whenever Sablone's Dunk sneakers drop (Sablone nor Nike have announced release details).

Like we've seen in years past, Nike SB's Dunks still hold the crown for the texturally excellent sneakers. So far for 2024, Verdy is holding things down in the hairy collab department, while those "Big Money Savings" Dunks are like a wearable home decor store for your feet.

Sablone's Nike SB sneaker? Her Dunk is serving up reptile realness in the coolest way.
