There may have been one ring to rule them all, but there certainly isn't one G-SHOCK to rule them all. For its latest in a long line of collaborative releases, Casio's G-SHOCK reconnects with long-time partners Alife to deliver a limited-edition GA110ALIFE21-8A watch.

In the world of product collaborations, we set our focus on a select few brands, the most obvious being Supreme, Palace, CASETiFY, Nike, and adidas.

Due to the weird and wonderful nature of some of the products these brands keep in the tuck (Supreme beds and skittles – I'm talking to you), they tend to steal the spotlight, but G-SHOCK's high frequency of drops that sees it tapped into the streetwear sphere shouldn't go overlooked.

In the past year alone, the watch brand favored by Hip-Hop for over two decades has dropped special-edition watches with Daily Paper, UNAFFECTED, Moncler Genius, PORTER, MISTERGENTLEMAN, and that's without including the likes of NASA, Toyota, Rubik's Cube, and FC Barcelona. Stacked!

Collaborations have been an integral part of the brand throughout its history, which has helped cement its legacy. Throughout this time, several partners have continued to step into the fold, just like Alife.

Coming together once against for a SS22 release, Alife puts its sophisticated streetwear spin on the GA110ALIFE21-8A watch.

The XL watch has been inspired by the concept of “The Witching Hour,” a time of night connected with supernatural phenomena and appears across the face. Fitting the theme effortlessly, the piece comes colored in a monochromatic light gray with blue detailing throughout.

You'll find the G-SHOCK x Alife GA110ALIFE21-8A watch online at G-SHOCK and Alife now, with a further release via the G-SHOCK Soho store on May 18.
