In and wander & Danner We Trust
American big boot aficionados Danner are renowned for their durable footwear. Similarly, Japanese outfit and wander is fast becoming the go-to for premium, fit-for-purpose outerwear.
So the fact the two are collaborating on a boot and a jacket should come as no surprise – and neither should how good it is.
Slated to launch online on October 21, the pair have fused the knowledge they each possess in their respective fields to deliver a collaboration that pursues practical functionality, as well as a sense of fashion that stimulates sensibility.
When it comes to the collection itself, no stone is left unturned in terms of technicalities and neat co-branding.
The DANNER LIGHT and wander (a take on the former’s classic Danner Light) arrives equipped with all the bells and whistles you’d expect from the brand, while its side panels and outsoles have been given and wander modifications.
The FIELD PARKA – which is based on the mountain snow hoodie of the US Army Mountain Corps – also boasts subtle co-branding, and is clad in and wander’s signature reflective piping for good measure.
For both brands, 2022 has been pretty busy on the collaboration front, and an impressive one too. While Danner reunited with JJJJound for link-up that hit the mark once more, and wander tapped Salomon for a collaborative run at the French label's signature XT-6 silhouette that also wet the lips.
As we all know, one thing you can guarantee with both and wander and Danner is consistency, which is why the quality of their FW22 link-up should come as no surprise.
