All 12 Seasons of 'Anthony Bourdain: Parts Unknown' Are Coming to Netflix
Anthony Bourdain's Emmy-winning show, Parts Unknown, is headed to Netflix. According to the Twitter account for Netflix UK and Ireland, all 12 seasons will be available on the streaming platform beginning June 1.
Anthony Bourdain: Parts Unknown premiered on CNN in 2013 and ran until 2018, the year of his death. The show followed Bourdain as he traveled to lesser-known locations to explore their culture and culinary scene. It won 12 Primetime Emmy Awards out of 31 nominations, in addition to a 2013 Peabody Award.
Throughout the 104 episodes, Bourdain ventured to places like Myanmar, Morocco, Bhutan, and Mexico, meeting with locals, interviewing chefs, and trying out native cuisine. The Parts Unknown crew was filming in Strasbourg, France when the TV personality/chef committed suicide.
A new feature-length documentary on Bourdain is said to be on the way from Oscar-winning filmmaker Morgan Neville. You can learn more about it here.
