A$AP Rocky Offers Community Service as Punishment in Sweden Assault Trial
A$AP Rocky has just offered to do community service as punishment in the assault case he's currently standing trial for in Stockholm, Sweden.
Today marks day three of the trial and Highsnobiety, in collaboration with DOPEST.se, have been reporting live from the court.
Rocky's lawyer, Slobodan Jovicic, suggested that the rapper do community service following commentary from the prosecutor that states that all three men (Rocky and two members of his entourage) "have committed violence" and that Rocky should be held accountable.
Rocky, real name Rakim Mayers, told the court, ”You know where I live and you have my and my lawyers contact details. I’ve worked with artists here and worked with charity. I wouldn’t mind doing it during the weekends. I’m at your disposal."
When Jovicic asked what he would do today should he be freed, Rocky replied, "I would like to take a proper shower and hang out with my mom and family. But as I said before I am easy to deal with. I am at your disposal."
The prosecutor is expected to give a verdict later today or next week at the latest. Stay tuned for updates and keep checking our live court feed for more news as it happens.
