Brand: atmos x adidas

Model: ZX 8000 “G-SNK”

Key Features: atmos’ rendition of the ZX8000 is a crazy mix of colors and materials. The Japanese retailer opts to combine hi-vis yellow and neon green with contrasting black detailing and mixes leather paneling with a faux fur base.

Release Date: August 28

Price: Likely $120

Buy: adidas.com and adidas Confirmed

Editor’s Notes: atmos’ wild take on the ZX 8000 — dubbed the G-SNK — pays homage to the Japanese retailer’s previous ZX collaboration from 2011. It blends the use of fluorescent colors, opting for a green, yellow, and blue color scheme, with unconventional materials. The sneaker’s upper features glow-in-the-dark faux snakeskin and hi-vis yellow pony hair.

As much of a looker as the atmos x adidas ZX 8000 is, the box it comes in takes a much more muted approach. The packaging comprises an all-white, commemorative A-ZX box.

After a highly-limited, Japan-exclusive drop in May, the atmos x adidas ZX 8000 G-SNK will be available globally via the adidas Confirmed app and at adidas.com/A-ZX on August 28.
