It's been a month since Austin Reaves re-signed with the Los Angeles Lakers, making him one of the best-paid players on the team. At only 25 years old he was instrumental to the Lakers reaching the 2023 Western Conference finals, becoming the team's No. 3 scorer in the playoffs. Now, the promising star teams up with Chinese brand Rigorer to launch his first-ever, signature AR1 “Ice Cream” sneaker - and you’ll find it exclusively - you guessed it - at KICKS CREW.

KICKS CREW is a global marketplace that has been active since 2008 and is still leading the way for all sneakerheads to bag their favorite kicks. The e-commerce business offers a wide range of curated sneakers and high-end apparel from verified brand retailers such as Nike, New Balance, adidas, and more. With that, it isn’t surprising that the site wants to join the Austin Reaves and Rigorer collaboration party.

The basketball player and Rigorer already have a history when it comes to new sneaker creations. Head on over to Rigorer’s website for Reaves’ input on performance silhouettes, such as the Sniper 2 or the Ender 1 Pro basketball sneaker.

The “Ice Cream” AR1 sneaker is composed of a woven cocoon upper to ensure breathability and support at the same time. “Working closely with the design team, the AR1 is all about maximizing performance and efficiency on the court. The AR1 not only matches my all-around game but is also adaptable to all players,” says Reaves. Following that statement, these gems feature a ShowTime Tech Foam midsole for extra comfort and bounce. Its anti-slip sole and anti-Torsion TPU plate provides a full-on grip and stability when making bold moves on the court. Besides these premium features, Reaves serves up childhood nostalgia by infusing the kicks with hues of pastel pink and blue, an ode to his favorite ice cream growing up.

The AR1 “Ice Cream” Sneaker will arrive on August 11th at 12 pm ET / 9 am PT, with an affordable price point at just one hundred bucks. Early adopters, beware: only 2000 pairs are being made available worldwide. Better save the date and check your wifi signal, before someone else grabs these gems.
