Editor’s Notes: Last night at the brand's Beyond the Streets exhibition space in New York, adidas officially unveiled a new collaboration with the Beastie Boys in commemoration of the 30th anniversary of the legendary hip-hop group's second studio album, Paul's Boutique. Additionally, the Beastie Boys x adidas Skateboarding Americana serves to celebrate the group's influence on skate, hardcore punk, hip-hop, and graffiti culture over the last three decades.

Paying homage to the golden era of '90s skateboarding as well as classic adidas sport heritage, the collaborative Americana boasts an entirely vegan canvas upper, with a classic gum sole below. The off-white and light grey sneaker then features adidas' Three Stripes branding in light grey and the Beastie Boys logo by artist Eric Haze stamped on the tongue and sockliner badging.

The launch of the Beastie Boys x adidas Skateboarding Americana coincides with the release of Paul’s Boutique on July 25, 1989, as the sneaker hits retailers this Thursday, July 25. A portion of the sales will go to PEACE Sisters and Little Kids Rock. Also, you can catch adidas' Beastie Boys exhibition on display at Beyond the Streets throughout July and August.
