This piece appears as part of “BERLIN, BERLIN” — a weekend-long virtual celebration of the city. Head here to see the full series.

Berlin, there is nowhere else like it. Where else would you find the city's mix of underground artists, rave philosophers, punk moms, and leather daddies. To profess our undying love for our HQ’s city, we just dropped merch for “BERLIN, BERLIN,” designed in commemoration of this year’s Fashion Week that never happened.

Our black hoodie sports our logo for the BERLIN, BERLIN project, which features original contributions from our Berlin network, including Keinemusik, Sucuk und Bratwurst, ÂME, Jonas Lindstroem, and Hamburger Bahnhof. Our accompanying signature heavy tee has the print for the “Senate Department for Economy, Energy and Businesses" on the back in German along the back with the date of this year’s Fashion Week.

They used to say you’re a true Berliner if you’ve lived through one of its winters. Update that: you’re a true Berliner if you survived the lockdown winter. This year was for the locals.
