Orion Pictures has released the first full-length trailer for Bill & Ted Face the Music. Starring Alex Winter and Keanu Reeves — who are reprising their roles as William "Bill" S. Preston Esq. and Theodore "Ted" Logan — the film serves as a followup to Bill & Ted's Excellent Adventure from 1989 and Bill & Ted's Bogus Journey from 1991.

Along with the new trailer, which gives us our first look at Kid Cudi in the picture, Orion has shared a new September 1 release date, also revealing that the movie will be available on-demand and in theaters on the same day.

In the clip, we find Bill and Ted engaging in dual couples therapy session, before embarking on a journey to write a song that will save all of mankind. They'll need a little help with the music, however, enlisting their daughters — played by Samara Weaving and Brigette Lundy-Paine — as well as a few historical figures and music legends to lend a hand.

The cast and creators of Bill & Ted Face the Music will be participating in a panel discussion for Comic-Con@Home this Saturday, July 25 at 3 p.m. PST. Reeves, Winter, Weaving, Lundy-Paine, and William Sadler will be on-hand, in addition to director Dean Parisot and screenwriters Chris Matheson and Ed Solomon. You'll be able to tune in here.
