After getting a look at the George Floyd protests in New York City, we now have images from the recent Black Lives Matter protests in Los Angeles. Photographer Charles Shyu was on the ground over the weekend to document what's been going on in LA in response to the murder of George Floyd by white police officer Derek Chauvin.

As protests are ongoing for the foreseeable future, it's important to become educated on how to participate safely. For anyone who feels they are unable to protest, there are other ways to get involved and take a stand against police brutality and racism in America.
