K-pop superstars BLACKPINK have reunited with famed Japanese Takashi Murakami for another aptly-colored black and pink collaboration.

Following on from the pair's first two co-releases — a nineteen-piece capsule in late 2023 and a fifteen-piece collection late month, both of which sold out globally — Murakami and BLACKPINK are back with their debut joint footwear venture.

Titled the Ohana Full-Bloom, according to a Murakami IG post, the collab stars a playful slip-on featuring an oversized iteration of the designer’s smiling flower motif front and center.

Pretty concise for a BLACKPINK x Murakami collection, especially compared to its first couple of releases.

The last collection alone comprised everything from multiple short-sleeve T-shirts, jackets, and hoodies to pillows, keychains, and sticker sets.

This time the pair are keeping it to a solidarity pair of Murakami BLACKPINK slides. That, though, comes with its own problem, most that if you thought the last two collabs were hard to cop, this will likely prove even harder.

That said, you could always take a leaf out of Rosé from BLACKPINK’s book and bring back the flip-flop and Yves Saint Laurent combo as a bonafide alternative?
