If you haven't heard of BODE by this point, it's high time to get with the program. The New York-based label is the creative vision of designer Emily Bode, who focusses on using antique fabrics and Victorian quilts to create one-of-a-kind handcrafted pieces. The latest of the brand's output to have caught our eye in a big way are its patchwork quilted jackets.

Just three season's in, BODE is already an opener of New York Fashion Week Men's and has fast risen to a staff favorite here at Highsnobiety HQ. Which is why, on hitting the online storefront of popular London boutique and global e-commerce platform Browns, the new patchwork jackets were fast added to our wishlists for the Spring season ahead.

Each of the new workwear-inspired jackets is crafted in the USA in a colorful patchwork, stitch-effect design. As well as square front pockets, each has a button-detailed chest pocket for maximum functionality, and the quilted construction makes for a supremely comfortable piece (think wearing your duvet out the house), too.

Granted, the unique pieces come with a price point to match their bold designs, and you better make sure your liability insurance is up to scratch with the necks you'll be breaking when rocking on the streets. That said, if ever there were a piece to invest in for 2019, these jackets are some of the strongest contenders we've seen so far.

Click through to check out the jackets in closer detail below, and be sure to let us know your favorite design in the comments.
