Cardi B Pleads Not Guilty to Felony Assault Charges in Strip Club Fight Case
Cardi B has pled not guilty to two felony charges of attempted assault and a number of lesser counts after being indicted on Friday last week.
The rapper faces 14 charges in total, including misdemeanor reckless endangerment, criminal solicitation, conspiracy, harassment, assault, and two counts of felony attempted assault with intent to cause serious physical injury.
The charges relate to an incident at a strip club that took place last year in New York. Two bartenders claim that Cardi directed her entourage to throw chairs, bottles, and hookahs at them after a disagreement during a Migos appearance at the club.
Cardi seems confident about the case. According to concert-goers, during the recent BET Experience festival in LA, the rapper said on stage, "I ain’t going to jail. I got a daughter!"
