Brand: CDG x Vans

Model: Old-Skool Low

Release Date: January 7

Price: ¥16,500 JPY (approximately $145)

Buy: CDG stores and online

Editor’s Notes: COMME des GARÇON’s CDG has teamed up with frequent collaborator Vans on a reworked version of the latter’s Old-Skool sneaker. The classic skate shoe is outfitted with a recurring CDG logo across the midsole, while the rest of the shoe is kept completely devoid of any special branding or detailing.

The white canvas upper features leather overlays at the heel, laces, and toe box. Vans’s Off The Wall branding is stamped on the heel of the midsole, while the vulcanized outsole is also rendered in all-white. This means that the CDG branding is the only contrasting detail on the entire shoe.

According to reports, the CDG x Vans Old-Skool will be available on January 7 for around $145 at CDG stores and online.
