Double Tap to Zoom

After initial attempts at developing a hologram show in 2015 were thwarted by authorities, Chief Keef has bounced back and is ready to kick off his hologram performances in August this year.

Produced in partnership with Hologram USA, Sosa will inaugurate the "Icons of America" tour on August 31 with two consecutive 90-minute sets at London's Hammersmith Apollo. After, the rapper will return to his hometown of Chicago to run the American leg, though stateside dates and details have yet to be announced.

As per Keef's manager, the rapper is unable to enter London due to legal restrictions, but will reportedly beam in live to the shows to share messages of peace and anti-violence. Chief Keef's label-head Alki David noted, "People are going to be surprised." Adding, "Growing up, Keef was influenced by what his grandma listened to. These included Billie Holiday, Jackie Wilson, and other great African-American musicians."

The London performances will also include hologram cameos from other artists such as Tupac, The Notorious B.I.G, N.W.A, and Snoop Dogg. Tupac notably made a holographic appearance at Coachella in 2014.

Tickets for Chief Keef's London dates are available to purchase via Hologram USA here.
