According to leak accounts, a co-branded Chinatown Market x PUMA Ralph Sampson OG sneaker collaboration could be on its way. Chinatown Market’s Mike Cherman and PUMA are no strangers to collaboration, having worked together on two sneakers already (sometimes with interesting consequences).

The Ralph Sampson OG was recently relaunched by PUMA as part of a wider push to re-establish itself in the world of basketball. The sneaker was NBA Hall-of-Famer Ralph Sampson’s signature on-court sneaker in the ’80s when he played for the Houston Rockets.

Going by the leaked image above, it looks like the co-branded sneaker would be an official collaboration between Chinatown Market and PUMA, whereas Cherman’s previous two PUMA projects fell under the German brand’s Co.Creative project.

Chinatown Market and PUMA keep the clean white leather upper of the original, adding a yellow Chinatown Market tag and what looks to be a removable PUMA formstrip in green, red, and blue.

With nothing announced officially by PUMA or Chinatown Market, stay tuned for updates.
