Clipse x Carhartt is the merch collab that one of hip-hop's biggest reunions deserved. Clipse's logo with the Carhartt "C"? Come on, too perfect.

Clipse, the duo comprising brothers Pusha T and No Malice (formerly Malice), has reunited before, technically.

They both walked the runway for Pharrell's debut Louis Vuitton runway show, for instance, demonstrative of their kinship with Skateboard P (all are from Virginia).

In fact, Clipse and Pharrell are so close that Pusha and No Malice debuted a new song, their first in years, at the recent Louis Vuitton Spring/Summer 2025 runway show.

Now that's love.

It all fits pretty well, honestly, especially given Pharrell's own recent workwear fixation. Too perfect that Clipse would shortly after debut its own blue collar collab.

These are some of the guys who originally made baggy Carhartt jeans and Timberland's mighty 6" boot an aughts fashion statement, you know.

Who better to take the functional staples into a new era of luxury?

Clipse's proper reunion began on June 21, when the duo performed in Paris, Pharrell at their side.

This was their first public showcase in a long time and heralds Clipse's new era, its first cohesive public push since 2009's landmark Til the Casket Drops and the subsequent tour.

The Carhartt collab is a nice little bit of merch, tying in with Clipse's historic moment.

Not only does it nod to hip-hop heritage, it reaffirms Carhartt's status as newfound luxury while emphasizing the good taste inherent to Carhartt WIP, the Detroit manufacturer's more fashion-forward imprint.

Unfortunately, the custom Clipse x Carhartt jackets and jeans aren't available for sale (yet?) but there are co-branded layering pieces available online for a limited time, mostly offered for under $100.

It's still an auspicious (re)start for one of hip-hop's best tag-teams, whose shared future has never seemed sharper.
