Key Features: Featuring suede uppers, the standout design element of COMME des GARÇONS' new Waffle Racer is the frayed Swoosh applied to the sides.

Release Date: January 2020

Buy: Retailers like Dover Street Market

Editor’s Notes: COMME des GARÇONS is back collaborating with Nike on the Waffle Racer, following a previous effort from 2017. Expected to release this week, the sleek runner appears in a predominantly black look.

COMME des GARÇONS deviates from the traditional nylon construction, instead opting for suede-based uppers. From there, we see a denim Swoosh applied to the sides, boasting frayed detailing. Hits of white provide contrast via the CDG branding on the heels and insoles, as well as the Nike tongue tag. The sneaker is finished with a black waffle outsole and comes with tonal laces.

The black COMME des GARÇONS x Nike Waffle Racer is expected to release before the month's end at retailers like Dover Street Market.
