If there's one thing you can count on with COMME des GARÇONS — besides its iconic avant-garde clothes that make fashion fun and worth watching — it is the brand's big, bodacious collaborations with Salomon.

COMME des GARÇONS has a track record of great shoe collaborations with Nike, Vans, and even ASICS. But right now, we're talking about CdG's Salomon sneakers, as the duo has just unleashed a wild new stomper that's even bolder than their previous takes.

For the Spring/Summer 2024 season, CdG delivers yet another collaborative Salomon SR811 Platform shoe. Whereas the previous batch was dipped in the brand's black and white paint buckets, the latest is an explosion of color. Almost literally.

A vivid all-over pattern of multicolored triangles covers the towering Salomon sneakers, resulting in a super eye-catching design on top of a super platformed-soled model.

The Salomon platforms sneakers debuted during CdG's SS24 women's presentation, heavily adorned with shiny jewels and charms (we didn't even notice they were another Salomon collab). Nonetheless, the CdG x Salomon sneakers blended right into the procession of humongous summery dresses and Barbie-esque floral wigs.

Within the fresh prism-decorated walls, the elevated Salomon sneaker again packs in foam cushioning and an all-terrain grip on the bottom, as we've seen with other chunky-foundation efforts. Plan to hit trails in these platforms? Your ankles have been warned (once again).

After hitting the runway in embellished glory, the COMME des GARÇONS x Salomon SR811 Platform shoes are now available on Dover Street Market's website

The price, you may ask? Oh, just a cool £1,140 (approx. $1,431 in US money talk).

Whether Salomon's price tag left you choking on water or not, several fans have already treated themselves to the super platformed pairs, it seems. Yeah, these massive stepper are going fast.
