Crocs already redefined footwear once. Their water-resistant clogs sparked heated debates on whether or not they were a fashion crime—until comfort-craving trendsetters turned them into a coveted style staple. With the launch of a new product category, Crocs EXP, the global brand is poised to disrupt the industry yet again. Crocs EXP transforms the company’s signature molded shoes, giving the iconic silhouettes an innovative edge courtesy of the latest advancements in shoemaking. With Crocs EXP, the purveyor of playful-meets-practical slip-ons steps into uncharted territory to create Crocs that are like nothing you’ve seen before.

Crocs New EXP collection

Crocs EXP lands on the scene with a daring trio of classic and archival offerings. Leading the charge is the Trailbreak, a technically-driven premium sneaker based on an archival Crocs style from 2010. It’s set to be joined by elevated versions of two more iconic offerings—the Quiet Clog and the Quick Trail—fearlessly reimagined by the brand’s in-house design team. Crocs EXP creations maintain the comfort synonymous with the brand's name, but their upgrades spark endless possibilities for expressive styling and all-terrain excursions.

Pioneering the Crocs' experimental era is the Trailbreak, the most sneakerhead-friendly slip-on release ever to hit the market. The first drop in the new product category encapsulates Crocs EXP’s mission of soaring beyond the label’s status quo. Its integrated lacing system stands out for how seamlessly it fuses with the sneaker’s mesh upper and EVA midsole—a design choice so intuitive you can’t believe it’s never been done before. The kicks also feature eye-catching paneling, breathable water-shoe style holes, and a tactile midsole.

To really appreciate them, you have to see them in action—so Crocs tapped two-time Grammy-winning artist Thundercat to front EXP’s debut. Known for his bold fashion sense as much as for his genre-defying music, the virtuoso effortlessly incorporates the reimagined Trailbreak into his expressive ensemble. Donned by Thundercat, the potential of the shoe comes to life, revealing how it can be complemented and elevated to meet any occasion.

With a sleek, livable design, the Crocs EXP Trailbreak is polished enough for a city sidewalk and adept enough for a rugged trail. The dynamic revamp doesn’t forget to nod to its archival inspiration, either: a reinforced toe and anti-slip outsole pattern pay homage to the OG Trailbreak from 2010. The new model shakes things up with distinctive Chartreuse and Clay colorways that are equal parts vibrant and grounded—so you can serve up style without sacrificing support.

Following the Trailbreak are two equally revved-up counterparts, the Quick Trail and Quiet Clog, which both skew closer to a clog than the debut sneaker. The Quick Trail is no stranger to riffs on its hiker-favorite utilitarian form—from the pearl-encrusted Simone Rocha x Crocs collab to a recent Mossy Oak camo colorway. Its Crocs EXP evolution promises to add an extra dose of elegance. When it comes to the reworked Quiet Clog, it’s a safe bet that less will continue to be more. The strapless mule’s streamlined appearance and cloud-like cushioning already make the shoe a masterclass in form-enhancing function.

Itching to get your hands on the EXP lineup? Rest assured, it's not 2011, and you don’t have to camp outside your local Crocs store like hypebeasts did for a certain unnamed streetwear brand. The Trailbreak and future Crocs EXP installments are sold exclusively through the official Crocs app and select retailers globally. You get Crocs, you get Crocs, everybody gets Crocs. If you haven’t already downloaded the Crocs app, now’s the time. New releases will drop monthly, and your favorite archival style could be next up for a rework.

Crocs , Crocs

No matter which terrain you’d like to tackle or style you want to rock, Crocs EXP creations are tailored to meet the task. Anticipating every possibility is the goal of the EXP category, which pushes the boundaries not just of the Crocs brand but of footwear itself. By forgetting the rules and forgoing convention, Crocs EXP liberates us to step into the future today—putting our best Croc-adorned foot forward, of course.
