Crocs has quite the back catalog of wild shoes. Of all of its unearthed footwear gems from its early 2000s heyday, though, the recently-revived Quicktrail Low sneaker-sandal is undoubtedly the greatest.

A techy amalgamation of Croslite (the rubber-like material Crocs has become renowned for), breathable mesh, and a toggle fastener, the Crocs Quicktrail Low shoe, first released in 2003, is the perfect plush trail silhouette for today’s gorp-obsessed dresser.

Crocs’ latest takes on the Quicktrail Low shoe, which land at selected Crocs retailers (but not at Crocs' own outlets) on May 16, are without a doubt the finest-looking yet, and the first refreshed inline iterations not inspired by the shoe’s OG colorways.

Shared by Ryan Forsyth, who oversees Crocs’ Collaborations and Special Projects, the newest Quicktrail Lows are landing in “Dusty Green” and “Bone”, both of which adorn matching blacked-out toe boxes and a summer-ready perforated upper (of course).

This reveal comes hot off the Croslite heels of Crocs’ Japan-only Quicktrail Low collaboration alongside Marmot Capital, which only just dropped in early May. More function-focused Crocs footwear for summer? Yes please!

Over the last decade Crocs has become more than a small Boulder-based footwear brand making wipeable Classic Clogs for green-fingered gardeners and lonely fishermen alike.

Suddenly, following a flurry of style-centric collaborations and celebrity endorsements, Crocs isno longer a cushy clog company but a bonafide fashion brand, so much so that nowadays it’s almost impossible to walk the streets of any city without coming face-to-face with one of its chunky, rubbery numbers.

Anyways, like it or not, Crocs (and its hard-wearing shoes) is here to stay.

And with its easy-on (and surely soon to sell out) Quicktrail Low, it’s here to take over your off-road terrains, too.
