Descente ALLTERRAIN's FW22 Palette is Delicious
Though we continue to enjoy the peaks of summer, Fall/Winter will soon be upon us. Thankfully, Descente ALLTERRAIN has arrived in perfect timing with the launch of its FW22 collection, packed full of the brand's functional outerwear expertise.
It's admittedly and totally awfully British of me to complain about the weather, but one heatwave down with another humid display fast approaching, I'll be honest; I'm missing the fall.
Record-breaking temperatures aside, besides sneakers, outerwear is the category that has my heart. There's something truly mesmerizing about the level of focused design that goes into bringing an outerwear concept to life. Outerwear, more than any other style category, is dedicated to the core principles of dress – to protect us from the elements.
Descente ALLTERRAIN exemplifies this in its approach to outerwear design, prioritizing function while mainintaing the aesthetic beauty of form.
While its presence remains throughout the warmer months of the year, thanks to its extensive knowledge of fabrications, Fall/Winter is where it comes into its own and pulls out the big guns.
FW22 sees the return of favored styles that have come to define the brand on a seasonal basis; this includes the iconic Mizusawa Down Jacket, as well as the Anchor variation, which plays its style close to a traditional puffer jacket with a removable hood.
This season's outerwear selection comes with an extended palette, introducing hues previously unseen. A warming burnt orange extends across the full offering, while a soft brown also makes its debut. It's worth noting that this brown is somewhat similar to the exclusive tone applied to the brand's United Arrows collaboration.
Pieces from Descente ALLTERRAIN's FW22 collection are scheduled to make their way to Browns in late September.
