For over 15 years, D*Face's hand-drawn stickers and pop-art infused murals have livened up walls and billboards the world over. As he auctions off his work in Paddle8's March street art auction alongside contemporaries such as KAWS, Invader, and Takashi Murakami, Highsnobiety took to his London studio to chip away at the man otherwise known as Dean Stockton's pop art-infused veneer.

In collaboration with the ever-growing online art auction platform, we've discovered eight things you probably never knew about D*Face, uncovering everything from his obsession with motorcycles to the near-death experiences he's had risking life and limb in the name of street art.

Learn more about the street art legend in our video above, and don't miss your last chance to shop his works in the final hours of Paddle8's auction, including an exclusive new print titled "Turncoat Lilac" made exclusively for the sale.

Paddle8's street art auction ends March 15, 2.45 EDT, click here to add some iconic new pieces to your collection.
