Diemme's Cornaro Is Now a Summer Shoe
If you were asked to envisage a classic hiking shoe, you’d likely picture a chunky robust and, quite honestly, dad-looking boot. In reality — in 2023 anyway — things are slightly different. Things are, well, stylish.
Whether you’re half-way up a mountain or traversing your way through treacherous weather on some sort of mad-long hike, your footwear rotation shouldn’t suffer.
And, luckily for us, Diemme has introduced a new Cornaro line-up for Spring/Summer 2023 and it bangs.
The Cornaro is arguably one of the most street-savvy hikers on the market, blending an air of Italian sophistication with the ultra-sturdiness you’d expect from a classic hiking boot. But, unlike many other labels, Diemme still keeps things looking damn cool.
The hand-crafted low-top silhouette, which arrives in an array of refreshed summer-ready colorways this season, comes equipped with the same weather-proof wax-treated suede and lightweight lugged rubber sole we’ve come to expect, but reworked visually for sunnier climates.
In fact, Diemme is making a habit of releasing stylish hiking boots. Last year the label teamed up with the likes of C.P. Company and Très Bien for various takes on some of their epochal silhouettes, as well as an upcycling adventure with Nicole McLaughlin.
The long and short of it is: Diemme is pioneering cool hiking footwear. And as the world continues to embrace the outdoors this can only be a good thing, for everyone involved.
