Disney Unveils New Details About Its Avengers Campus
If you've always dreamed of going to an Avengers-themed theme park, you're in luck. After months of teasing, Disney has finally announced that its Avengers Campus will be opening its doors this summer, July 18.
The Avengers Campus, located inside California's Disneyland Resort, will be dedicated to recruiting and training the next generation of superheroes (yes, you read that right) — "Campus" stands for Centralized Assembly Mobilized to Prepare, Unite, and Safeguard.
The full-immersive experience will let fans team up with the Avengers and discover locations dedicated to their favorite superheroes such as Spiderman, Doctor Strange, and more.

Attractions
"This is going to be the largest assembly of these heroes anyplace, anytime, anywhere," said Dan Fields, executive creative director at Disney Parks Live Entertainment in a press release. "We really have a place for them to live and work and play and protect and train.” One of the main attractions will be Spiderman's WEB SLINGERS, a ride where fans will be able to sling webs just like Spidey, thanks to new cutting-edge technology and a pair of 3D glasses.
Food
Guests will be in for a treat when it comes to food options as well, starting with the Pym Test Kitchen. In a dining area that resembles a tunnel, visitors will be able to virtually watch food shrink (and grow), using a technology inspired by Ant-Man and The Wasp. There will be a giant, 360-gram pretzel, for example, the Impossible Spoonful — micro-meatballs served in a giant spoon and with a tiny fork, and The Not So Little Chicken Sandwich, which comes with crispy chicken breast that's approximately five times bigger than the buns.
Elsewhere, guests will have a chance to help the Pym food scientist by tasting their weird and wild culinary experiments.
