The second feature-length trailer for Eminem's next cinematic venture, Bodied, has arrived, promising laughs and intense action in equal measure.

Bodied turns a satiric eye to the world of competitive rap battles, but this time — unlike his leading role in the fictionalized biopic 8 Mile — Eminem doesn't deliver the brutal bars himself. Instead, he serves behind the scenes as a producer.

The story tells the tale of Adam Merkin (American Vandal's Calum Worthy), a Berkley grad student who gets involved in the rap battle scene after meeting icon Behn Grym (Jackie Strong). Merkin delves further into the world of battling, eventually alienating those closest to him as his interest soon becomes an obsession.

The picture is directed by Joseph Kahn, the American film and music video director who has worked with artists such as Dr. Dre, Snoop Dogg, Jennifer Lopez, and Destiny's Child.

Bodied lands in select theaters November 2, and on YouTube Prime November 28.
