Editor’s Notes: END. and New Balance are releasing another avian-inspired sneaker, which follows in the footsteps of 2019’s “Grey Gull” 878. This year’s collaboration is inspired by the Grey Heron, another coastal bird native to the UK, most commonly found near rivers and lakes. The subject of the collaboration is the iconic, Steven Smith-designed New Balance 1500, which has become a steadfast favorite in the UK over the years.

The END. x New Balance 1500 “Grey Heron” is set to be released on August 22 via END.’s online launches page.
