Following yesterday's Twitter teaser, Epic Games has unveiled its Fortnite x Jordan Brand collaboration. The collab follows Fortnite's recent John Wick limited time mode and is part of the popular game’s V9.10 patch.

“Jordan Brand continually tests and iterates rewarding new experiences for our consumers," the company said in a statement. "We are excited to work with Epic Games to create an experience for our community that is both innovative and authentic. This collaboration allows us to connect across virtual and physical worlds and unlock access to purchase some of our most coveted shoes, the Air Jordan 1.”

The New York City-inspired update includes a collaborative Downtown Drop LTM by Jordan Brand, two new skins, and an exclusive challenge pack. The game-in-game allows players to launch off massive jumps, grind down city streets, and collect coins.

All players will have the chance to jump into the Downtown Drop LTM and complete free challenges to unlock the Back Board Back Bling and its additional nine style variants. Some of the Jordan sneakers featured in the trailer below include the upcoming “Defiant 1” collection, which consists of "NYC to Paris" and "LA to Chicago" Nike Air Jordan 1 colorways, as well as the "Chicago" Air Jordan 1.

Yesterday, gamers were greeted with a message from Epic stating, "Game recognize Game. Drop in tomorrow." An image of the Fortnite logo paired with a Jumpman accompanied the note.

In addition to the message and the graphic, Fortnite further teased the Jordan Brand collab by tweeting a series of emojis including a goat, basketball, sneaker, and red triangle.
