Editor’s Notes: For FW 2018, GCDS has taken a step away from the somewhat confronting and unconventional campaigns of season's past (like the SS18 video where Pamela Anderson is 'killed') and selected a theme that is less NSFW, yet still has an unsettling undertone.

Influenced by the ongoing conversation around artificially intelligent robots—notably CGI influencers—and their potential impact on society, GCDS’ Giuliano Calza has looked beyond the human world and into the cosmos for inspiration this season.

To bring the collection to life, the Milanese streetwear label tapped New Jersey-born rapper Fetty Wap and singer-songwriter Kali Uchis to feature in the campaign. Shot by the Spanish duo Hunter and Gatti at the National Sawdust in Brooklyn, a non-profit artist-led music venue, the images capture Wap and Uchis appearing robot-like in a “cosmic dream” as they don the highlight pieces from the new collection.

The collection encompasses outerwear, knitwear, accessories, footwear, and even jewelry in a color palette dominated by black, white, and red.

You can cop the collection now at GCDS.com and in select stores worldwide.
