Editor's Notes: The always-bold and stylistically adventurous fashion designer Giuseppe Zanotti unveils another sneaker made for and inspired by "the energy and pulse of the city," according to the designer. The man known for his lavish sneaker designs and sculptural, jeweled heels, the Italian designer's work is associated with the film, music, and art worlds. And while the Urchin is a head-turner, the designs fall more within the bold and chunky sneaker trend rather than Zanotti's previous creations.

"I've always been inspired by the energy and pulse of the city," explains Giuseppe Zanotti. "Whether it's Tokyo or Shanghai or New York, the common thread is a non-stop dynamism mixed with an independent attitude. The 'Urchin' encapsulates that vitality and unorthodox mindset."
