Gucci will launch its forthcoming collection "OUVERTURE of Something that Never Ended" via a seven-episode mini-series to be screened during #GucciFest, an online film and fashion festival scheduled to run from November 16 - 22.

The series, co-directed by creative director Alessandro Michele and film auteur Gus Van Sant (Good Will Hunting, My Own Private Idaho), will star actress Silvia Calderoni in a surreal daily routine encountering some of Gucci's familiar faces such as Billie Eilish, Lu Han, Harry Styles, Jeremy O. Harris, Florence Welch, and more.

Creative director Alessandro Michele has also chosen some upcoming designers to present a fashion film on the #GucciFest platform including Ahluwalia, Shanel Campbell, Stefan Cooke, Cormio, Charles De Vilmorin, JordanLuca, Mowalola, Yueqi Qi, Rave Review, Gui Rosa, Rui, Bianca Saunders, Collina Strada, Boramy Viguier, and Gareth Wrighton.

The cultivation of a whole Gucciverse that includes artists, film-makers, playwrights, and fellow designers speaks to a wider effort to expand on the brand's cultural production, beyond its offerings of fine tailoring, mary-janes, and dirty denim jeans.

Sign up for #GucciFest here, and check back for the complete itinerary on November 13.
