What We’re Saying: It's been seven years since HANON began collaborating with Diadora, and the retailer continues to deliver captivating designs like the "Alternative Route" N9000 from early 2021. A followup to the 30th anniversary N9000 project, Diadora is back with yet another take on the '90s runner, this time paying homage to an ancient tribe and early settlers of what is now Scotland, known as the Picts.

The Picts, meaning "painted people," were said to paint or tattoo themselves blue prior to battle in order to appear more menacing. The color palette of the HANON x Diadora N9000 "Pictish Warrior" is in turn inspired by this tribal warpaint, as shades of blue meet hits of gunmetal grey and light tan throughout the sneaker.

Handcrafted in Italy at the original Diadora factory, the N9000 boasts premium construction from smooth nappa leather, soft tumbled leather, and rugged suede. Adhering to the theme of the collaboration, the Pictish Beast, a mythical creature carved onto stones throughout Scotland, is incorporated into the Diadora side stripe on both sides of the shoe, while the creature and HANON's flame logo are then embroidered on the heels. Additional markings appear via co-branding on the tongue and the leather laminated sockliner.

The HANON x Diadora N9000 "Pictish Warrior" comes with four sets of laces and a custom hangtag, wrapped in branded tissue paper and packaged in a bespoke box. You can enter the raffle for a chance to secure the collaboration by following here.
