Sonos' partnership with renowned Danish design brand HAY on an exclusive new take on Sonos’ first-ever smart speaker, the Sonos One, came as a limited edition collab earlier this year.

Maintaining the original's clean, minimalist aesthetic, the speaker has been custom designed to perfectly match HAY’s existing color palette, rendered in shades of red, green, yellow, pink and grey.

Mette Hay, Co-founder of HAY shared, "For me, color is one of the most important tools in the design process, and it was very important we didn’t just create a color scale that looked beautiful. Colors can hide completely and disappear or provide contrast – creating ranges in more colors produces more impact and opportunities for mixing items in the home. These speakers deserve to be treated like furniture; strong, independent objects that can blend in or stand out – functional accessories for any room that fit different needs and different spaces."

The HAY for Sonos Limited Edition collection, like all Sonos One speakers and other newer Sonos products, support Apple’s AirPlay 2. With just one of these supported speakers, AirPlay 2 is unlocked for your entire home sound system.

Priced at $229, the HAY Sonos One is still available to purchase at Sonos flagship stores in NYC, London and Berlin, as well as HAY House Copenhagen and online, and makes for the perfect gift for anyone who appreciates quality audio and signature Scandinavian design this holiday season.

The good news doesn't stop there, though. In time for Black Friday, Sonos is giving customers the chance to cop its speakers for less. From November 22 to November 26, shoppers can enjoy $25 off the Sonos One, $50 off the Beam soundbar, and $100 off the Subwoofer (no promo code necessary).

Now, check out the recently opened SONOS concept store in Berlin, as the brand hopes to change the way we experience sound.
