Double Tap to Zoom

And just like that, Not In Milan has come to a close. This year’s Design Week came and went as fast as a Ferrari, and the time has come to say arrivederci. But before we say goodbye to Milan, we had to throw one last hurrah to send off another successful Not In series.

To close out this year’s Not In Milan, Highsnobiety teamed up with Italian sportswear icon FILA for an unforgettable finale: A Toast to Disruption. True to its name, the evening was a tribute to the rebels, the risk-takers, and the tastemakers who refuse to conform. FILA, a brand built on that very spirit, took center stage with a multi-sensory installation that explored its bold legacy—from breaking tennis dress codes in the '70s to influencing streetwear today.

Highsnobiety, Highsnobiety

Inspired by the avant-garde art of assemblage, the installation was a curated collision of past and present. FILA pulled from its rich archive to create an innovative composition of its most beloved pieces and memorabilia. Heritage garments, groundbreaking designs, and rare collectibles converged into a striking, immersive narrative that told the story of FILA’s evolution.

Visitors navigated a space that felt part museum, part modern art gallery—where fabric, form, and function blended into a story of cultural impact and design innovation. Light, texture, and sound transformed each element into a living homage to the brand’s disruptive spirit.

Highsnobiety, Highsnobiety

As part of our Not In Milan: Classics Reinvented capsule, Highsnobiety and FILA debuted the Not In Milano Track Suit, a modern reinterpretation of a classic silhouette. With a nod to FILA’s unmistakable design DNA, the suit features a menswear and womenswear version, with the women's being in a slightly cropped fit. Both, however, sport paneled sleeves, functional front pockets, and a zip closure with the classic FILA heritage stripe in a monotone color. The finishing touch is “Milano” boldly stamped on the back, tying the piece to the city that inspired it.

Guests at the event got an exclusive first look (and feel) at the piece, which seamlessly tied into FILA's larger story of innovation grounded in tradition. Once sufficiently draped in their tracksuits, the energy kicked up as evissimax took over the decks.

So for now, it’s goodbye to Milan and back to Berlin for the Highsnobiety team. With another Not In under our belts, we can’t wait to show you what we’ve got ready for you next.
