Another day, another new Netflix movie trailer to ease us into the colder months. This one arrives in the shape of Hold the Dark, a psychological thriller set in the Alaskan wilds by up-and-coming directorJeremy Saulnier, whose brutal films Blue Ruin and Green Room were indie hits on the festival circuit. Check out the trailer up top.

The movie follows a retired wolf expert as he investigates a child's disappearance. Teaming up with the mother, together they search the wilderness for the pack of wolves that killed her son, while her husband — recently returned from Iraq — tries to process the devastating news. The trailer suggests this film will be every bit as tense and violent as Saulnier's previous efforts.

Hold the Dark boasts an exciting cast, including Jeffrey Wright (Westworld), Riley Keough (American Honey), and Alexander Skarsgard (Big Little Lies), and hits Netflix on September 28.
