Air Jordan 1 "Chicago"
One of Air Jordan's most recognizable forms, the "Chicago" is an OG colorway that first dropped back in 1985. And the Jordan 1 silhouette is the sneaker that started it all in 1984. It continues to be as coveted today, with ESPN and Netflix's recent MJ documentary The Last Dance causing demand to skyrocket. When wearing the AJ1 "Chicago," your feet will do the talking, so it's best to keep things subdued elsewhere. Air Jordan 3 "Black Cement"
Originally debuted during the All Star game in 1988, the Jordan 3 Black Cement was destined to become a lasting classic. The unfathomable hype behind Jordan, combined with the creativity of Nike’s star designer Tinker Hatfield, made the silhouette one of the all-time best-sellers. Not only was the Jordan 3 the first to feature the elephant-print upper, but it was also the first basketball shoe featuring a visible Air Unit (as introduced on the Air Max 1 in March 1987). Air Jordan 4 "Bred"
In 1989, the year after Jordan Brand's success went through the roof with the Jordan 3, MJ and Tinker joined forces once more on the Jordan 4 "Bred." Serving as an homage to the iconic "Bulls" colorway and bearing obvious similarities to its AJ3 predecessor, the Jordan 4 "Bred" is proof that sequels are not always bad. In fact, it became one of the most iconic shoes MJ would wear throughout his career. Air Jordan 6 "Infrared"
Another sneaker whose rise runs similar to that of Michael Jordan's — the Air Jordan 6. Not only did it become a classic on the streetwear scene, but it also debuted during the season in which MJ would win his first championship. On the design end of things, Tinker Hatfield once again worked his magic here, channeling elements from subsidiary Nike lines and silhouettes. Aside from its subtle red details, the "Infrared" Jordan is pretty murdered-out. Air Jordan 11 "Concord"
A few years, and a baseball career later, Jordan was back dominating the NBA by 1995. Not only did he win his fourth championship that season, but he also won the style on-court with the slapping Jordan 11. Its crisp white upper and patent leather mudguard give the kicks a sumptuous look, that made it a perfect staple whether your balling, strolling to flex, or even getting married.
