From Phallic Keyrings To Fire Knitwear, Here's How We Styled JW Anderson SS22
It is admittedly a bit uncool to call a designer's collections "fun", but when it comes to JW Anderson it is befitting. In the last two seasons alone he has got Juergen Teller to photograph himself half-naked for a collection and presented a sequin-filled, androgynous range of 80s-inspired men's party gear.
Taking it back to the SS22 menswear collection, those three letters were once again at the forefront of Anderson's mind: “It’s just about kids having fun,” he told Vogue. Including a host of youthful faces posing around a distinctively colorful 70s home, the clothes included lots of large strawberry motifs, bright fluffy vests with matching sweaters, and running shorts.
Now that the products from that collection are available for purchase, we've tried our hand at styling pieces from Anderson's eclectic world. Pairing together bold knitwear, some suggestive keyrings, and the British designer's signature zip-up turtlenecks we've created five spring-ready 'fits.
Check out the looks below along with comments from one of our resident style gurus, Jerome Glock, on how he created each outfit.

The sweetest sweater
"This sweater might be my favorite piece from the collection, it's super soft and slouchy which is exactly what I look for in some casual knitwear."
Casual AF
"The zip-up neckband is one of the first items that introduced me to JW Anderson, having become a staple for the brand it can elevate any look. In this case, I just kept things super simple and casual with a hoodie, washed-out Acne jeans, and sneakers."
The high fashion strawberry picking uniform
"The most summery of all the looks, I just had fun with this one by pairing the strawberry-print pieces together and adding in a dick-shaped bag."
In your bag
"I need this bag knitted bag, the colors and the way the fabric has been woven are amazing. It's the star of the show in this look."
