When Nigo and Verdy join forces nothing can go wrong. So when the two powerhouses took to Instagram to reveal a Human Made x Girls Don't Cry capsule we had high expectations. We didn't, however, anticipate it would include the shorts of the summer.

But before we get into the rest of the collection (also great) let's talk about those silk kickboxing shorts: For the capsule, Nigo and Verdy teamed up with reigning Rizin Kickboxing Featherweight Champion Tenshin Nasukawa. The result is two Muay Thai style silk shorts in red and green with a wide elastic waistband and decorated with collaborative badges and embroidery.

While, yes, these shorts can be technically worn in the gym. If you're not an avid kickboxer and you just want to get your legs out this summer, they're still a winning item.

Now, onto the rest of the collection. Encompassing co-branded long-sleeves, tees, messenger bags, a cup, an adorable figurine of Verdy's Vick character, and branded velcro tape, the capsule almost reads as a singular brand's, it just feels so natural.

To get your hands on some silk shorts (and literally everything else you can afford) head over to Human Made’s website on May 5, 11 a.m. JST (May 4, 10 p.m. EST).
