Double Tap to Zoom

Following last year's Hyperlapse, Instagram today announced the launch of a new standalone app called Layout that allows users to combine multiple photos into one image. The app will show custom layouts for the images on your camera roll, and even highlights shots with people in them in a selectable "Faces" option. The app enables you to drag and drop photos to rearrange them, pinch to zoom, or pull the sides of each photo to adjust its size. Users can then flip and rotate your photos to create cool arrangements and mirror effects. Additionally, Layout comes with a Photo Booth feature that lets you take four selfies in quick succession using the front-facing camera. Layout is available today for iOS and is expected to release on Android devices in the coming months.
