Highsnobiety
Double Tap to Zoom

By now, we all know that age is not a measure of talent. Last year, Isabelle Brown left us in a dizzy spell with her 03 EP. Today, the 16-year-old has returned with another heavy hitter called "To Say Goodbye" which is premiering right here alongside the accompanying visual. Consider it as the chicken soup for your emotionally exhausted soul, providing all the nourishment and comfort that you need to restore post-hibernation season. In an email to Highsnobiety, Brown explained how the song is about closure, acceptance, "addressing the end of a friendship and taking responsibility for my faults in the relationship."

In regards to the music video, the singer-songwriter wanted to capture "me in my most reflective state where I'm reminiscing on past – happier – times with my friend." Full disclosure: Brown can't actually drive, but she enjoys being alone with her thoughts in cars. (Because whomst amongst us doesn't?) Scroll down to watch the charming narrative unfold.
