Ja Rule wants to take on his nemesis 50 Cent as a part of Timbaland and Swizz Beatz's Verzuz Instagram Live battle series. The Queens-born rapper informally issued the challenge via phone call during a recent Instagram Live session between Swizz Beatz and Fat Joe.

"I want all the smoke," Ja said before insisting, "I'll behave." He went on to add that he'd like to participate in the Verzuz series "for the culture."

While it's hard to tell from Swizz's reaction if he's into the idea of a session between longtime rivals Ja Rule and 50 Cent, he made sure to let Ja know that his intentions must be pure for the battle to take place.

Timbaland and Swizz Beatz's Verzuz Instagram Live battles have been a welcomed distraction amid the coronavirus pandemic. Amassing thousands of viewers, the series has featured RZA versus DJ Premier, T-Pain versus Lil Jon, Mannie Fresh versus Scott Storch, and Ne-Yo versus Johntá Austin, as the artists go head to head by taking turns playing through their catalog.

Hit for hit, who do you think would win in a battle between Ja Rule and 50 Cent? Let us know in the comments below.
