Jack Wolfskin x Highsnobiety Gets a Full Weather Test
It’s always good to be sure you’re getting the best bang for your buck when it comes to copping clothes, but never more so than with outdoor pieces. In an arena defined by confusing jargon and high-tech materials, it’s easy to miss out on the pieces that are really worth it in favor of something that’s been marketed better. That’s why the only real way to prove the quality of our collaboration with Jack Wolfskin is by testing it in the wild.
We could test it ourselves, but sitting in our Berlin office isn’t wild enough to show the true power of the recycled Texapore Ecosphere material that the collection is composed of. To remedy this, we got in touch with a crack team of outdoor experts with matching style credentials to put the gear to the test.
In the hands of @1touche2bal, @erwanfilidori, @robertodecagna, @jasperlee.co, @idabroen, @garryflume, and @hyotkim, Jack Wolfskin x Highsnobiety stands up to the elements across the globe and does it with flying colors, if we do say so ourselves. Check out the adventures of the Jack Wolfskin x Highsnobiety collection below.
@1touche2bal
Arthur tests out the gear with a signature back kick which bodes well for the gear's freedom of movement. As you can see, the water-resistant Texapore Ecosphere hood is doing its job, too.
@erwanfilidori
Erwan takes a more urban tack, hitting the road on his bike using the Texapore Ecosphere jacket and cap as protection. He also proves the collection's style credentials by coupling it with a knife-pleat skirt.
@robertodecagna
Doing it up in big Y2K style, Roberto pairs his jacket with baggy cargos and Balenciaga kicks. From the mountain to the runway, Jack Wolfskin x Highsnobiety does it all.
@jasperlee.co
We can't forget about the at-home gear test either. Thanks for reminding us, Jasper.
@idabroen
Ida fittingly tests out the Pine Tree colorway of the jacket up in the branches.
@garryflume
Alongside Harry, the collection gets a full outdoor expedition around the Lake District's Coniston Water.
@hyotkim
Highsnobiety's very own Hyo hit the Californian dunes, proving that the breathable Texapore shell works in all climes.
