Jacob Cohën is on the move, celebrating its heritage this year by making a series of symbolic journeys across Italy in its collections. The question is: what are Jacob Cohën customers—being the smart, savvy, and adventurous individuals they are—actually wearing on their travels? Well, this season the brand is dropping a series of elevated essentials that ensure your leisurely sojourns are infused with some high-end style. Luxurious shirts, denim, and knitwear come in all different shapes and designs here, making for the full holiday package.

In the campaign, trim jackets and sunny styles are on the menu. Beachside relaxation might be the primary goal, but there’s plenty of groovy 70s energy to go round. The models recline in loungers against ambient blue and beige backdrops; the mood is jazzy and relaxed. It’s all very laissez-faire, and close-ups of garments have a languidness about them that suggest their owners have just gone for a quick dip.

These travel essentials aren’t just for posing, but for successful leisure all-round: they’d look just as comfortable installed in a classic car as they would weathered by the elements on a long walk, or at a trendy dinnertime haunt. Three new overshirts exemplify that versatility: in various practical colourways and with multiple pocket and patch combinations, they’re designed for those that are meticulous, particular, and have places to be.

Linen shirts and knitwear, meanwhile, come in plain colors or in a dégradé style; polo shirts take inspiration from Sicilian tiles. A new wash of jeans is extra light in color, emphasizing the subtle tobacco-colored thread and suede patch. And when you’re done with the heat, slip into some statement printed swim shorts to cool off. Jacob Cohën's own journey this year might be through its heritage and across Italy, but the garments they're offering can go even further. With a good pair of jeans or a staple denim jacket, anywhere can feel like home.

Jacob Cohën's SS24 collection is available online now.
